Why it matters

Management’s best defence, and our reply
The Five-Year Summary is a voluntary overview and the statutory emissions disclosure, which carries the assured figures, is in the Sustainability Report; the differences are small against total Scope 1 and 2 emissions of over [n] tCO2e. However, the market-based Scope 2 figure differs by 5%, the same table was not corrected from one year to the next, and the summary gives no basis that would explain a different figure.
The fix
- Update the 2024 column of the Five-Year Summary to [n] (Scope 1) and [n] (Scope 2 market-based).
